Little Bang

Storytime Saturday is a relaxed and welcoming session designed to spark imagination and support early language development in young children.
Welcoming children of all ages, it’s a beautiful way for families to slow down, enjoy quality time together and build early literacy skills in a fun, engaging environment.

Riverway Movies Nights
A family movie night under the stars
As the evenings cool down, Riverway Movies Nights offers the perfect excuse for a relaxed family night out. Bring a picnic rug, grab some snacks and enjoy a movie on the big screen in one of Townsville’s most iconic outdoor spaces.
It’s a simple, budget-friendly way to wind down the weekend and create lasting family memories.

Messy Play in the Park
Creative fun (with zero clean-up at home)
Let the kids get messy — without the mess following you home! Messy Play in the Park is a favourite for families looking to combine outdoor time with sensory exploration.
From talking, reading, singing and creative play, children are encouraged to experiment, imagine and express themselves freely. It’s a wonderful way to build motor skills, confidence and creativity in the fresh air.
