October Update: Parsonia Land Release

11 October 2025

Strong demand for land continues to drive great momentum at Somers & Hervey, with new stages progressing well and the Parsonia Land Release edging closer to completion.

The streets are steadily taking shape, with impressive progress across roadworks and landscaping — each step bringing this vibrant neighbourhood closer to life. Bulk earthworks to prepare the site for construction have now been completed, while final roadworks and underground services continue to move forward. Footpaths and tree planting are also underway, with completion expected by November (weather and supplier permitting).

Soon, the neighbourhood will be lined with leafy paths — perfect for morning walks, bike rides, and weekend scootering adventures — ready to welcome new residents. These exciting milestones are paving the way for land registration in the coming months, marking a key moment for future homeowners as they move closer to planning and building their dream homes.

Our community is already buzzing with life, having welcomed sixteen families so far, with more to come as 58 homes are currently under construction. These new and soon-to-be residents are helping shape Somers & Hervey into a connected, family-friendly community where neighbours know each other by name, kids can play freely outdoors, and weekends are spent enjoying the open spaces and riverfront lifestyle that make this part of the Upper Ross so special.

Plus, with the $30,000 First Home Owner Grant for new builds available until 30 June 2026, now is an ideal time to secure your place in one of Townsville’s most sought-after growth areas through the Parsonia Land Release.

Keep an eye out for our next land release on the horizon — and be among the first to hear when new opportunities become available.
