Please be advised that Rural Fire Service Queensland has scheduled a Hazard Reduction Burn for Sunday, 17 May 2026.
The burn will take place at Bluewattle Estate, in the vicinity of Stephanie Street and Pinnacle Drive, as part of ongoing land management activities to reduce fuel load and remove noxious weeds.
The burn is planned to occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm on the day.
Residents may notice smoke in the area and are advised to take appropriate precautions to minimise smoke entering their homes. Emergency services vehicles will be operating within the area throughout the day.
